The 1870s period-sitcom plot may be predictable, but the champagne hasn't lost its sparkle nor the music its ebullience.

Why See Die Fledermaus?

Don't miss this new-to-Chicago production of Strauss' operetta, Die Fledermaus, featuring a cast of unforgettable characters and timeless music. Lavish costumes and sets complete this comedic tale of decadent lifestyles set in 1800s Vienna.

The production was created by the San Francisco Opera Association, and this Chicago premiere sees Juliane Banse and Daniela Fally make their Lyric Opera debut alongside Bo Skovhus and Adrian Erod.
