United Center opened in 1994 on Chicago’s Near West Side and immediately established itself as the city’s largest indoor arena. It seats up to around 20,000 fans for concerts and basketball games, making it one of the busiest live entertainment venues in North America.
The arena serves as the home of the Chicago Bulls and the Chicago Blackhawks, and it hosts major touring concerts, comedy specials, and large-scale events throughout the year. Built to replace the old Chicago Stadium, it carries forward that legacy while offering modern sightlines, expanded concourses, and a high-capacity layout designed for both sport and spectacle in equal measure.
