READ THE REVIEWS. IT WAS THAT GOOD!

I grew up in the late 60s-early 70s in New Orleans. I do not remember ever seeing a concert this good and when I had this much fun. The best part is John living his best life on stage with his sons. Here's the kicker...an older gentleman on our row could hardly even walk to his seat w/o assistance...But, he was dancing some sort of a jig at Proud Mary. Do not miss this tour!

STILL GOING STRONG

Wife and I went to the Boston show last night. Here is my honest review. Show started 45 minutes late. Who knows why. Once on stage Fogerty and the band was great. His 2 sons and daughter are with him. Fogerty still has a strong voice and still a great musican. Did many of his CCR hits. For 76 years young excellent he is a legend. However after about less than 90 minutes he was getting tired. HIs last song Fortunate Son was about 90 secounds long and then the show was over. Mr. Fogerty needs to cut down to performing 2 days a week at most.

FOGERTY ROCKS, BUT TO LOUD & TO MUCH DISTORTION

I attended the John Fogerty Creedence Clearwater Revival Celebration last night at Mohegan Sun Arena. The opening act was Fogerty’s Suns band who were musically proficient, but way to loud with most of the set having lots of distortion due to the volume. I expected Fogerty to tone down the volume a bit because the size of the room makes for lots of distortion, but he sadly did not. Fogerty opened his set with Bad Moon Rising after about a 5 minute film of him explaining that this Celebration tour is due to the fact that he now owns all his music after decades of legal wrangling with the record company who opened it. For a 77 year old man his voice is still excellent and he hit all the right notes during the 23 son set. Highlights included Run Through The Jungle, , Green River, Born On The Bayou, Who’ll Stop The Rain, Fortunate Son & An Encore Of Down On The Corner & Proud Mary. Overall the concert was excellent with the only problem being that it was way to loud. I’m 61 and have attended hundreds of concerts including The Who 3 times, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, The Stones, so I’m no stranger to loud concerts (The Who being the loudest) but the arena was to small for that level of volume and it tended to distort the music & lyrics at times. Several other people who I talked to after the show agreed that it was too loud. Overall I give the show 4/5 ⭐️s

CENTERFIELD

Great show, instrumental component was super - just wished the fortunate son riff was closer to the original recording. What energy and fun chemistry amongst the clan. I would have perhaps preferred more vocal focus even if it was not vintage - maybe some voice support from the youngsters. The play list was great, he is a great entertainer with hard to match energy and drive! Thanks!!

MINOT LOUD ENOUGH

Music was great. They played almost all the songs everyone wants to hear. The only issue i had was that his microphone wasn't turned up enough. You could barely hear what he was saying. Other than that was a good concert. B.T.W it was awesome seeing him play with his sons
