The classic ABC reinvented for the stage
The ever dependable Emerald City Theatre present Schoolhouse Rock Live, a musical revue based on the long-running, Emmy Award-winning ABC educational show. The show follows Tom, a young school teacher who is stressed out about his first day at work. He's watching TV, when cartoon characters in the shows come to life and show him that the best way to engage his prospective students is through the power of song. These songs include 'I'm Just a Bill', 'Three is a Magic Number' and 'A Noun is a Person, Place or Thing', many of which have become popular classics outside the show.
An immediately engaging and entertaining show for kids, parents may also find themselves humming along with nostalgic glee.
