Why See Air?
you're my favorite game
The wistful soft electronica of Air is back this year with the well-heeled French duo setting out on their first U.S tour in seven years. Expect an atmospheric retrospective as they delve into their enviable oeuvre, as explored in last years extensive anthology record twentyears.
Meeting as students, Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoir Dunckel have been making their unique music together since 1998, with their debut Moon Safari going on to become one of the most influential albums of the decades. Many critically acclaimed works followed, not least The Virgin Suicides, their first collaboration with indie queen Sofia Coppola, including the amazing 'Playground Love' and 'High School Lover'.
Performance date: 20 June 2017
