Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman Star In New Comedy Musical 

Tony Award-winning director Kathleen Marshall (Anything Goes) teams up with Emmy Award winner Megan Mullally (Will & Grace) and Nick Offerman for this new comedy musical, coming to the Goodman Theater in the summer of 2026. Telling a (completely untrue) story of how Eugene O'Neill was inspired to write The Iceman Cometh, Iceboy! is an irreverent and hilarious twist on theatrical history.

What Is The Story?

Vera Vimm is the hottest star of Broadway in 1938. She has the whole world at her feet but things are about to take a bizarre turn as she decides to adopt a frozen Neanderthal, nicknamed Iceboy. Vera soon comes to regret taking on her new son' as he gains attention in the theatre world, including from a certain Eugene O'Neill, who may have just found the inspiration for his masterpiece. Will Iceboy steal Vera's beloved spotlight? This hysterical new musical features music by Mark Hollmann (Urinetown).
