Why see Wizard Of Oz?
Journey from Chicago down the Yellow Brick Road
This July the enchanted land of Oz is a place you can visit via the Chicago Shakespeare Theater Company, with the charming classic running at CST's Courtyard Theater from July 6 - August 25. A play fit for all the family, join Dorothy and her loyal canine friend Toto on their journey through Oz and their adventures with the Tin Man, Scarecrow, the Cowardly Lion and more.
A spirited adaptation of the timeless 1939 MGM movie, no production would be complete without the inclusion of the story's legendary musical score, with adored pieces including 'Over The Rainbow' breathtakingly performed here. Adapted for the Royal Shakespeare Company by John Kane, the production is directed by Brian Hill and choreographed by Kenny Ingram.
