A brand new musical!

When it first premiered back in 1971 Bedknobs and Broomsticks became an international success. With Angela Lansbury as Miss Eglantine Price, the Disney movie has become one of the most beloved family movies in the world and is now launching into a new sphere as it becomes a brand new stage musical!

Directed and choreographed by Rachel Rockwell, this brand new musical will keep the original songs from the 1970s classic, but will also feature some new tunes courtesy of Neil Bartram, with a brand new book being penned by Brian Hill. Bartram and Hill have worked together previously on the Broadway musical 'The Story of my Life'.

What is Bedknobs and Broomsticks about?

As World War II rages on siblings Charlie, Carrie and Paul Rawlins are evacuated the English countryside to wait out the rest of war in peace and relative safety. However when they arrive at their new home their new guardian is not all that she seems. Miss Eglantine Price is a 'witch-in-training' who is determined to bring peace to the world and end the enraging war. With the help of the Rawlins kids, who all seem to have a knack for inventions, Miss Price takes them on a whizzing journey into the unknown and the magical.
