Salonen Conducts Piano Virtuoso 

Finnish composer Esa-Pekka Salonen conducts the supremely talented pianist Yunchan Lim and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra through a stunning program, the highlight being Lim tackling Liszt's Second Piano Concerto! Salonen's own composition, Tiu, opens the program, while the splendid evening is set to culminate in some magnificent selections from Hector Berlioz' Romeo and Juliet.

Yunchan Lim's sparkling talent first came to international attention in 2022, and since his breakout the young virtuoso has appeared as a soloist with leading orchestras around the world, including the New York Philharmonic, Tokyo Philharmonic and Korea Symphony.
