Hearts, Wine, And Thanksgiving

Presented by Northlight Theatre and directed by Helen Young. Award-winning writer Lloyd Suh's play, the Heart Sellers is making its way through the vascular system this winter, promising to warm you from the inside out. Suh created the Heart Sellers show based on his mother's experiences moving to the United States after the introduction of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, which abolished restrictive quotas for those wishing to relocate from non-European nations. A touching comedy that sheds light on the experiences of Asian immigrants, and can't be missed!

What Is The Story?

If you never thought a coat could change your life, you'd be wrong. After a chance meeting while wearing the same coat, Luna invites Jane to her home for Thanksgiving, as both of their husbands will be working. Both women are recent migrants to America and seek to find comfort with another who truly understands their lived experiences, and a shared love of wine.
