Brigadoon

A first-class revival that boasts an infectious buoyancy of spirit and a welcome absence of postmodern flourishes.
The New York Times
Why see Brigadoon?
'Why is it we have to loose something to find out what it really means' says the wistful Tommy in Brigadoon, the story of a miracle little town that comes out of the Highland mist to show us what it means to find true love and how it feels to almost loose it.
What is Brigadoon about?
Tommy and Jeff, two New Yorkers, are hopelessly lost on the first day of their vacation to the Scottish Highlands, when they hear mysterious music in the distance. Following it, they stumble upon Brigadoon, a timeless town where nothing is what it seems. Is it a dream? A state of mind?
On discovering Brigadoon doesn't appear on their maps, the townsfolk let them in on their beguiling secret; after being cursed, the town may only appear for one day every 100 years and for an inhabitant to leave would spell disaster. And as Tommy learns, to fall in love means staying forever.
Can he go the distance after meeting the enchanting Fiona? Or will he wake from the dream all to soon? One thing is for certain, no one is the same person after finding Brigadoon.
