Inspired by the tales of Alice in Wonderland, Alice By Heart is a poignant story of love, loss, and courage from the Grammy and Tony-winning duo behind Spring Awakening, Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik, and co-written by Waitress's Jessie Nelson that retells Alice's journey down the rabbit hole from against the tumult of the London Blitz of WW2. A world premiere engagement, don't miss it at the Chopin Theatre this summer.
What is the story?
When Blitz besets London, Alice Spencer finds herself sheltering deep in an underground Tube station alongside other frightened Londoners. While hiding from the bombs, Alice's friend Alfred falls ill and is subsequently quarantined. To cheer him up, Alice convinces him to escape with her into the tales of Wonderland, beginning a journey of magic and imagination that celebrates the transformative power of the human imagination, even in the harshest of times.

Cast of hit broadway show performs for 60 of their friends
We felt like we had just watched the cast of hit Broadway show do a one off performance for their friends. I've never been that close to that much talent. We're so lucky to have stumbled on it.
