Loved it
Funny, bold, and of the moment. Exciting from start to finish. Chicago actors are consistently making this city proud. Steppenwolf is making a huge statement here and it's worth it. Still reeling from this big play.
Best thing I've seen
I found this play to be expertly performed by Mr. Wilson--who knew he was such the stage actor! The direction by Ms. Landau, particularly for a farce with so many important issues was fast-paced and never felt earnest in its delivery. While the play felt a bit long, I took that as a sign of Mr. Erlbach's attempt to keep us learning and making good on the promise he asks of the audience at the beginning of the play. This is a young writer who bursting with big questions and I cannot get over how well he managed to fit all that in a comedy--a farce, no less! Bravo to the whole Steppenwolf team. Highly recommend this important work of the American Theatre. It is a sign of good things to come in live performance in Chicago.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Rainn WIlson couldn't save this boring mess. Predictable at every turn, Groan worthy 4th grade jokes, The ending was the only interesting part but 2+ hours of BS to get to that point. Don't waste your money.
