The previously announced musical adaptation of The Devil Wears Prada has announced it's two leading ladies! Broadway alums Beth Leavel and Taylor Iman Jones will star as Miranda Priestly and Andy respectively.
Leavel was last seen on Broadway as Deedee Allen in the Tony-nominated production The Prom with her other credits including a long-standing run as Donna in Mamma Mia! Iman Jones was last seen on Broadway in Head Over Heels, and recently leads the off-Broadway premiere of Scotland, PA.
The Devil Wears Prada will feature a score by the one and only Elton John, lyrics by Shaina Taub, a book by Paul Rudnick, direction by Anna D. Shapiro and choreography by James Alsop.
Previews for the brand new musical will begin performances at the CIBC Theatre in Chicago on July 13, 2021 before with a Broadway transfer in the works.
