Perhaps best known for the heart-wrenchingly bittersweet ballad Angel, Sarah McLachlan emulates the song with her otherworldly, ethereal voice. The three-time Grammy Award winner is set to make her Chicago Symphony Orchestra debut with a special one-night-only performance at the CSO Corporate Night Benefit. All proceeds go to the general operations and running of the CSO.
Rising from a cult following in the 1990's, McLachlan found critical and commercial success with her first album Touch. Since then she has released nine studio albums over the course of a stellar 28-year career with each one exhibiting a maturity and courageous emotional depth that is rare in pop music today. Eloquence, poise, beauty - these are just some of the words that describe McLachlan's mesmerising sound.
