Why See ?

A MUSICAL FOR THE ROMANTIC IN ALL OF US

Based on the writing of Gossip Girl producer Austin Winsberg, the sparky Broadway musical comedy First Date is an hilarious exploration of the vulnerability and awkwardness that a first date can entail. Aimed at adult audiences, this light hearted romp is perfect fare for the romantics out there.

A classic tale of boy meets girl/opposites attract with a blind date twist, the audience first meets Aaron, the geeky guy with a good job and Jewish family, who arrives early at the appointed restaurant. Fashionably late, tough New Yorker and indie chick Casey strides in and the date commences. With a chorus of their inner critics, family and friends augmenting those first date nerves and an upbeat song and dance or two, will these two ever make it to the end of the night?
