Victory Gardens Theater
Written by Bill McMahon, Chicago's Victory Gardens Theater will premiere a new production that delves into the life of Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi. The play journeys through Nancy's personal and political life and provides an intriguing look into the world of the first female Speaker of the House in an extremely interesting and polarized time in politics.
Nancy has been in her position as Speaker of the House since January 2019. Over the course of her political career, she has passed the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell and the Hate Crimes Prevention Act.
