Based on the 2017 novel by Erika L. Snchez, this world premiere follows high school student Julia who, after the death of her seemingly perfect sister Olga struggles to navigate life while balancing her two cultures - Mexican and American. The novel was a National Book Award Finalist and a New York Times Bestseller. Prepare to see the story hit the stage in this premiere production from the Steppenwolf Theatre.
The play is directed by Jeff-Nominated Sandra Marquez and written by award-winning playwright Isaac Gomez. The pair have previously worked together on the Steppenwolf production La Ruta.
