Why See Big River?
The Tony-winning musical comes to Munster!
Join Huckleberry Finn as he, his friend Jim and Tom Sawyer reunite for a thrilling trip down river, in this seven-Tony Award-winning musical that premiered during the Eighties. With a book by William Hauptman and music and lyrics by Roger Miller, it is notable for standing firm against the plethora of British musicals that opened during the same period.
Miller created the show's big hits including King of the Road and Dang Me. Themed around melodies of country, bluegrass and gospel, this extremely funny, yet harrowing river journey sees the trio meet a motley bunch of characters, imagined in Mark Twain's classic 1884 novel.
