The Chicago Symphony Orchestra turn up the volume with a recital of Beethoven's unforgettable 5th Symphony. Known as one of, if not the most famous work in the entire classical canon, let yourself be transported into a world of outstanding melody and thrilling creativity from those fateful first four bars.
The orchestra will be conducted by the acclaimed Dutch maestro Jaap van Zweden, guesting with CSO in between his regular commitments as music director of the Hong Kong Philharmonic and New York Philharmonic, as well as engagements as music director designate with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra.
