Why See Franco De Vita?


This Latin Grammy Award winner has been wowing audiences worldwide since emerging in the Eighties with his breakout hits "Solo Importas Tu," "Te Amo," and "Louis", which all received critical acclaim. His more recent achievements has seen him duet with Tony Bennett on the latter's 2012 album Viva Duets, joining artists such as Gloria Estefan, Chayanne and Marc Anthony. In 2014, De Vita was inducted into the Billboard Latin Music of Fame.

De Vita's rock-pop style is often compared to that of Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel, and his 2004 album Stop reached the Top 10 throughout Latin America and on the U.S. Latin charts, spurred by the hits T De Qu Vas and Si La Ves, , the latter song being a collaboration with Mexican pop group Sin Bandera. He has also written songs for Ricky Martin and Chayanne, when not working on his solo material. His 2015 tour will see him hit the Rosemont Theater in Rosemont, IL, Closed May 7, 2017.
