Why see Tommy Emmanuel?

Tommy Emmanuel In Concert

Acoustic guitar virtuoso and two time Grammy Award nominee Tommy Emmanuel is back on tour, bringing his unrivalled passion and energy to his beloved instrument. Expect jazz, blues, folk and more from this Australian native who has embraced all things American. Watch this adroit performer coax his extreme talent and leave you with a smile on your face!

Dedicated to performing, Tommy takes on approximately 300 dates a year, to bring his sound direct to his fans. His fingerstyle, inspired by Chet Atkins, has seen him be a session musician for greats such as Eric Clapton and Les Paul, but it is in his solo work that he masters his craft! A must see.

Why isn't there a place for a 100 Star Review? I had the honor of witnessing live, one of the world's best! Tremendous entertainer, guitar certified master Tommy Emmanuel gave a perfect performance at the Wilbur in Boston! I spent most of my life in a band that opened for major acts, this man takes the cake! Seeing 1000's of hours on utube of Tommy, I can say that being there live just made the 'Tommy Emmanuel experience' even better. Do not miss the chance to see this person, he is a world wonder and superhero with a guitar at his fingertips! Great sound & lighting at the Wilbur for the show! ... Read more

Tommy (as always) is on fire

Tommy hit the stage, following the support band, and lifted the eveninng 1000 levels. His mastery of the guitar and pure entertainnment was loved by the audience with multiple impromptu standing ovations. Two special moments for us was when the fellow Aussie (conductor arranger) burst onstage with his clarinet, "Nettie," and dazzled the audience with amazing blues playing and incredible virtuosity. I never thouught that guitar and clarinet would ever work so well. There were many amazing moments in Tommy's playing, noone more so when he introduced us too his Baritone guitar and the way he had crafted music for a TV series. Slightly evil with a measure of hope. What a sound and what and education we all got. Thanks Tommy!!! ... Read more
