GREAT ENTERTAINMENT

Great night out. The Midtown Men put on a phenomenal show. Love the music, the charming personalities, the band. The 60's mix of music has a little contemporary kick. There is just enough Four Seasons amongst other top artists from they 60's. Highly recommend.

DISSAPPOINTING SHOW

Total disappointment. Their voices are nasal and out of tune. Every 5 minutes or so they pump up each other about how great the original Jersey Boys was. And the original was great. But this is a money-making takeoff and essentially a ripoff.

VERY DISAPPOINTING

My wife and I saw the show on 4/13. We had high hopes and left totally disappointed. - First the show was short. Intermission came after barely 40 minutes of performance. - The vocals were mediocre at best. The harmonies were generally good, but only 1 of the four had what I would consider lead-quality vocals. - What really made the show unpleasant for us with the huge egos that came across in the performance. With their self-congratulatory introductions and the over-the-top crooning of some classic songs, we just did not find them to watch or to listen to. We have had great luck at Heinz over the years and have seen many great performances. This was the worst and it is not even close. I don't recommend this show to anyone.

MIDTOWN MEN LIVE AT THE MAHAFFEY THEATER IN ST PETERSBURG FL

WHere do I start, The band was awful. THe men in the group really think they are big stars, Meanwhile, I can't even name them. They all sounded horrible. I think it should be illegal for them to advertise and promote them being part of Jersey Boys when they do a lackluster show that is like watching a bad Karaoke performance. They were off key, sang all horrible songs, very few of Frankie Vallie's and the few they did sing sounded terrible. I hope Valli sues them and makes them cease from using his show to sell their tickets to their rotten performance. Most of the night they just talked about how accomplished they were, how they were either nominated or won Tony Awards. Well, good for you, but the garbage show you are doing now isn't worthy of any awards, possibly the Gong Show maybe. If I could give no stars I would, so they got 1 star from me. Talk about a waste of 130 bucks.

NOT WORTH A TICKET

I went tonight to the Summer Pops in San Diego to hear what was supposed to a group that is a tribute to the great songs of the sixties. I've been going to these concerts for over 30 years and this is by far the worst I've ever seen. Their dancing was out of sync, and the singing was off key half the night! Plus when people go to hear a tribute band, they want to hear the ORIGINAL version of a song because it takes us back in memory to those days - NOT wanted is a group who think they can take the original scores and melodies and add their own twists on it! We didn't pay good money to hear Midtown Men's version of hits! Its pretty obvious others felt the same way as a lot of people picked up and left at intermission, and the applause was the lowest I've ever heard at the Pops!! VERY DISAPPOINTING!

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT

My husband and I saw this group in Chicago this past weekend. What a terrible show. The instrumentation was far too loud, and the singers did not seem to be able to harmonize with each other. The "Frankie Valli" singer's voice was flat and very nasal. They spent at least half of the time on stage congratulating each other on past roles. The songs they chose were, at best, minor 60s hits. We left very disappointed.
