The Kid-Friendly Musical Adventure

The Marriott Theatre Lincolnshire proudly presents a rollicking 1-hour adventure for the little ones and big ones alike this Spring. Based on Hans Christian Andersen's beloved fairy tale, The Princess and the Pea promises much singing, much dancing and a whole lot of adventure. The high spirited spectacular features book and lyrics by Rick Boynton, music by Marc Robin and choreography/direction by celebrated theatre maker Aaron Thielen.

Updated with contemporary elements, the story takes place in the kingdom of Queen Evernean. Determined to marry off her rebellious son, she creates a reality game show called The Princess Test in order to get her heir hitched toot suite. The Prince, on the other hand, would rather marry for love, so he escapes to the royal forest where a chance meeting brings him face to face with his one true love. But will this girl pass the test..?
