A vibrant music-infused production comes to the Alley Theatre's Hubbard Stage this fall. Tasked with the care of her ailing mother Lucha longs to escape her 1970's life. When a long-forgotten record re-ignites her mother's memory Lucha and her cousin set on a quest to do the unthinkable... form the first all-female Mariachi band!
Celebrating the power of music, American Mariachi is a big-hearted production that celebrates the power and joy of Mariachi music. Sure to tug at your heartstrings, don your dancing shoes and get yourself to the Hubbard Stage for this celebration of life, love and the pursuit of happiness!
