Celebrating The Windy City's rich musical heritage, this Gala Concert brings together a plethora of big name artists who have ties to Chicago. Headlining is opera great and Grammy winner Renee Fleming. Hailed as 'America's Beautiful Voice', Fleming commands a repertoire that encompasses everything from French Opera to Indie Rock. Joining her on the Civic Opera House stage are Oscar nominee Michelle Williams (Manchester By the Sea), who proved her musical chops with a turn in Broadway's Chicago, and Tony winner Jessie Mueller (Beautiful, Waitress).
The Chicago Voices line-up also includes Shemekia Copeland, The Handsome Family, Matthew Polenzani, and John Prine, with more names to be announced.
