A battle of the sexes as you've never seen it before, The Explorers Club is a madcap romp that'll leave you in stitches. Nell Benjamin, writer behind musical smash Legally Blonde, has produced a wildly funny comedy caper is a farce of epic proportions, poking fun at the gentleman-only clubs of the victorian era, their haphazard explorations and oftentimes naive fascination with a world beyond their own.
Upsetting all of the conventions of the time, a female explorer returns from the jungle with a live specimen in tow - Luigi, a member of a tribe she's the first to make contact with. Achievements aside, the London charter of the Explorer's Club refuse to grant her membership due to her feminine status. They're far too busy trying to retrieve a lost guinea pig and discover the East Pole...
