Have yourself an Indie Christmas with 93XRT and The Head and the Heart
93XRT's Holiday Jam is back for 2018 with another hot band at the helm. The Head and the Heart lead the charge this year with their back catalogue of chart-topping tunes to get you into the holiday spirit.
Indie folk darlings The Head and The Heart have witnessed a stratospheric rise in popularity over the last few years. Releasing their debut album in 2011 the seven piece gained huge acclaim for their sophomore release, Let's Be Still in 2013. The album saw the musicians hit the top ten of the US charts. Releasing their third musical offering, Signs of Light, in 2016, the groups popularity was confirmed with a number five spot in the US top ten.
The Head and the Heart's ascension to the top has been rapid, riding the crest of the indie folk revival alongside the likes of Mumford and Sons and Lumineers. The band specialises in sweeping romantic sentiments and the beautiful harmonies of lead singer Jonathan Russell.
