A Taste of Things To Come

The 1950s have dawned, the era of Rock-&-Roll is here and things are changing. The Korean War is over, racial tensions are beginning to crack and the Cold War is in its infancy. But for these four friends from Winnetka IL their lives are on the cusp of change.

Joan, Connie, Dottie and Agnes, four friends who's social calendar revolves around the weekly Cooking Club. Every Wednesday these women meet to cook, chop, bake and mix their way to what they hope will be a better life. However it is not only about the cooking when these women meet, but is also a chance to confide their hopes, dreams and frustrations. When a different type of reading material is posted through their door, the four friends ditch their normal LIFE Magazine to discover the Kinsey report. Shocked and intrigued about its contents their lives take an interesting turn.

As the 1960s arrive we re-unite with the women and see not only how their lives have changed but also learn of the secrets they have been keeping...
