A Celebration Like No Other!
The Auditorium Theatre in Chicago is throwing their doors open as they celebrate their 50th Anniversary. Following a 26 year closure, they commemorate the gloriously restored theatre that reopened in 1967 with an event like no other.
By honouring the theatres vast legendary history, they have mixed a repertory program featuring the greatest dancers from the worlds premier dance companies. Many of the companies, whose dancers will present pieces, have a rich past with the theatre. The audience will get the pleasure of experiencing the next generation of dance with performances by winners of major international dance competitions, including the Youth American Grand Prix.

Did You Know?
The historic opening, back in 1967, hosted New York City Ballet for their production of A Midsummers Night Dream, starring principal dancers Edward Villella and Suzanne Farrell, who will serve as honorary co-chairs of the 50th Anniversary Celebration!
