Returning for its 14th year! This annual production by the Chicago Opera Chamber is always a must-see for families. At just 90 minutes long, its perfect for those new to opera and also enough of a classic to keep die-hard opera fans happy! Don't miss its timeless story of love, faith and charity this Holiday season. Singers from the Chicago Opera Chamber will be joined by the ballet dancers from the Ruth Page Arts Center, Spanish dancers from Ensemble Espaol, and world-champion Irish dancers!

'One of the most popular operas of all time, Amahl and the Night Visitors tells the story of how a crippled, young shepherd boys life changes forever when he sees an amazing star "as big as a window." When three kings following the star in their search for a wondrous child encounter Amahl and his mother, the result is a timeless and inspiring message of how faith, charity, unselfish love and good deeds can work miracles.
