Why see Beehive the 60s Musical?

Sing Along to Female Empowerment Hits of The 1960s

Celebrating the female greats of the 1960s; Janis Joplin, the Supremes, and Tina Turner. Beehive the 60's Musical takes audiences through a journey during a changing America. With hits like 'Natural Woman,' 'It's My Party' and 'Where The Boys Are,' this musical is full of sparkle and fun while communicating a good message.

Learn the stories behind the eras powerful hits and the iconic beehive hair style that was a staple for women in the 1950s and 60s. The musical's name comes from the hairdo that was created by hairdresser Margaret Vinci Heldt to make women appear taller.

Not a traditional musical, the play is a singalong that doesn't fail to tell a crucial story without losing the political and historical context. The musical follows seven young women as they go through their lives in a socially challenging time.

Fantastic Entertainment

Just saw Beehive at the Marriott and it was fantastic! The talented girls ae amazing! The voices just beautiful and I loved he trip down memory lane through the years. Each song better than the next and the costume changes were fabulous, what energy and talent you have in this group! We thoroughly enjoyed all of it and the band was top notched too, holy cow, they could really play those instruments! Kudos to them too! I have told everyone about this fabulous show and I would go and see it again. I know we were supposed to say seated and I did, but it was hard! Hahah The music was THAT GOOD! I wanted to be up and dancing!! Thank you for a wonderful evening of our fun loving teen years and I had tears too when JFK, MLK, RFK and Vietnam were brought up. A tough sad time, but see how music brought us through then and will bring us through our difficulties again now..Peace Love and Music. Thank kyou all and Well Done!!! ... Read more
