Two of modern rock's great guitarists embark on their first ever joint tour
While they've played together at various shows over the years, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Jonny Lang have never co-headlined a tour together. All that's set to change in 2015, when these two modern titans of guitar head hit the road for a series of dates through June.
Since appearing on the scene with his debut Ledbetter Heights (at the age of only 18) Shepherd has continued to hone his craft, casting his magical powers over material from the rock greats as well as producing a few new classics of his own, such as 1997's Blue on Black. His latest release was last year's Goin' Nowhere, which featured guest spots from Joe Walsh and Ringo Starr. The Grammy Award winning Lang has toured with B.B. King, Aerosmith and The Rolling Stones, and is without doubt one of his genration's most accomplished players.
Both Lang and Shepherd will be playing full sets at each of these dates. catch them when they hit Star Plaza Theater in Merrillville, IN, Closed June 26, 2015
