Ballet Chicago tales leap onto the stage of the Harris Theater for Music and Dance for two performances of Take Flight!
Part of Ballet Chicago's fifth consectutive Spring Repetory Series production at the Harris Theater, Take Flught features work from choreographic legend George Balanchine and Ballet Chicago Resident Choreographer Ted Seymour.
Featuring Balanchine's spirited Square Dance, his virtuousic Stars and Stripes Pas de Deux, and Seymour's nebula-inspired galactic odyssey Celestial Rites and his new world premiere choreographed to elegant music of the impressionist French composer Maurice Ravel.
