A LOT OF TALENT, LITTLE STRUCTURE, AND A LOT OF VULGARITY
Lots of talented actors, singers, dancers of all ages in this show. Unfortunately, the play seems haphazard at times. But I think what made me so uncomfortable was all the swearing coming from both adults and children. I'm not a prude by any means and occasionally use the same language in certain company. But I was really embarrassed for a lot of the folks in the audience that were taken by surprise at the amount of foul language. We've been to Drury Lane several times in the past (season tickets) and have generally enjoyed ourselves with the performances. IMO, this one needs a big warning flag attached to it! Unlike other reviews that encourage Billy Elliot theatergoers to bring their children, I would say "Proceed with caution!".
