Boney James & Brian Culbertson share the stage
Things are about to get very smooth... Two of the biggest names in Contemporary and Smooth Jazz are joining forces for one very special performance at The Chicago Theatre. Boney James, known for his gifted way with a tenor saxophone, and Brian Culbertson, a piano virtuoso with a penchant for penning fusion masterpieces, will take the stage to perform a range of genres and styles from their impressive repertoires.
Fearless innovator Culbertson may be known for his piano-led modern funk and fusion pieces, but he can also play drums, bass and euphonium amongst other instruments, giving his music incredible depth and seeing him tour with the likes of Michael McDonald, Chris Botti and Patti Austin. Boney James is also a prolific tourer and has recently released his 15th studio album, the fittingly titled 'futuresoul'. Between them, these classy gentlemen have sold over three million albums - they must be hitting all the right notes!
